Mira Green uses a variety of artistic and photographic practices to study ideas about race. Green is currently working on a new work in which African textiles are used as a material and model to explore its own relationship with culture. Her works are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City and the Princeton University Art Museum.
