MADSAKI. If i had a dream

Exhibition July 17 − August 17, 2019
Hong Kong's Perrotin Gallery presents a solo exhibition by Japanese artist MADSAKI "If i had a dream". The exhibition includes new paintings, installations and three well-known project masters: the Warhol series, a series of films and a series of characters depicting popular cartoons. With his works the master makes a call to stereotypical values in various systems that he faces in everyday life. The artist is known for his series “The Baths,” in which he uses laughter and humor to divert attention from the outside world and therapy for internal research of himself. The artist uses the method of spraying paint, which leads to splashes and drops, which add texture and atmosphere in the works.

MADSAKI - a graduate of the New York School of Design Parsons. Born in 1974 in Osaka and raised in New Jersey. The aesthetics and individuality of the artist formed the merger of two cultures.
