In the exhibition halls of the Odessa Municipal Museum of personal collections named after A.V. Bleshunova is an exhibition of restored museum objects "Saved for posterity. Scientific restoration". The project is dedicated to the thirty-fifth anniversary of the founding of the Odessa branch of the National Research Restoration Center of Ukraine. The exhibits are accompanied by textual and photographic materials about the stages of conservation and restoration works and the results of scientific research. The exhibition presents more than forty unique works of art from eight museum institutions in the southern region of Ukraine.
The Odessa branch of the National Research Restoration Center of Ukraine was established in 1983. Over 35 years of its activity, the regional structural subdivision of the country's leading specialized cultural institution has received deserved authority in the field of conservation, research, conservation and restoration of museum objects in the southern region of Ukraine.
