Tracy Emin. Fear of love

Drawing is what underlies Tracy Emin’s art. For her first exhibition at a major French institution, the British artist will select drawings from the Musée d'Orsay collections, rarely presented to the public, and enter them into dialogue with her own works.

These drawingsexecuted on different scales will be combined by the artist to express our concern about being human when we encounter this complex but important aspect of our life: love. Love, people, animals, objects, in the vast experience of our humanity. The reality of our life will be called into question with the help of these drawings, possibly the most fragile art form, which best reflects feelings and intellect, as part of the scenography specially designed to reveal the unique beauty of these fragile objects.
