Gairat Baimatov. Caravan of Visions

Exhibition August 16 − September 1, 2019
Museum of the History of Kiev presents the exhibition of Gayrat Baimatova "Videni Caravan". The paintings on display reflect the master’s view of eternal themes such as love, good and evil, knowledge of oneself and one’s inner world. The author’s stylization of the national decorative motifs of the East, sophistication of graphics and a bright pictorial palette are organically combined in the artist’s work.

The spicy aroma of spices, the many-voiced hum of the eastern bazaar, the silence of the night aul and the bright light of the month irrigate the stony Central Asian landscapes: Gairat Baimatov's painting is saturated with the national color of Uzbekistan.

Gairat Baimatov is a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan. He received his art education at the Republican Art College in Tashkent. The master’s works are in private collections and museums in Spain, Denmark, Mexico, Belgium, England, Germany and the USA.
