Sergey Ovcharuk. The rhythms of the city

The Khmelnitsky Regional Art Museum hosts an exhibition of paintings by British artist of Ukrainian origin Sergey Ovcharuk "The rhythms of the city". The exhibition presents 16 works from a series of urban landscapes dedicated to London, where the author has lived for the past six years. The canvases are filled with an amazing combination of traditions of the old masters of painting and expressive color. For his impressionist paintings, the artist uses mainly a palette knife. According to Ovcharuk, this is precisely the best tool for his “blind painting” technique.

Sergey Ovcharuk was born in 1963 in Lviv. He graduated from the Khmelnitsky College of Arts. Actively exhibited in the UK, USA and Europe. Collaborates with several international galleries in England, USA and Europe, participated in museum exhibitions in Monaco and Vienna. The artist’s works are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Czech Republic, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine, China, India and Qatar.
