Samuel J. Corso- A multimedia artist with a concentration of creativity on glass. He has participated in many exhibitions throughout the United States, including the Mobile Museum of Art, the Regional Biennale of Crafts, the Arkansas Art Center, the Museum of Decorative Arts and others.
Corso taught painting, design and painting courses at Louisiana State University and conducted glass design and construction workshops for the Arrowmont School of Decorative Arts, Gatlingburg, Tennessee, and for various conferences of the American Craft Council.
Corso was selected for inclusion in New Glass Review IV, a selection of the “100 Best Glass Designers” in the World for 1982 from the Corning Glass Museum.
