Their Majesty's Lounge
This exhibition project recreates the original appearance of room 39, known asTheir Majesty's relaxation room.
First opened in 1828, the room was conceived as a portrait gallery of the Bourbon dynasty. The images shown were accompanied by still lifes, flower arrangements and landscapes, as well as other paintings that depict the events of the reign of Charles III and Ferdinand VII.
