The international gallery of contemporary art VS unio invites you to the first in Russia after many years of emigration, a retrospective of the famous representative of Moscow actionism Avdey Ter-Ohanyan"Good bad".
The works presented in the exhibition are selected by the artist personally, and, according to the author himself, are selected. Chronological coverage includes the earliest works of the early 1980s, including work created specifically for the exhibition. Thus, the fascination with cubism was reflected in the iconic work “Cubist Construction” of 1980.
The exposition will reveal to the viewer the fateful personality of Avdey for Russian contemporary art, and will show the key feature for the artist - unpredictability. Widely known to the European and Russian public, Avdey Ter-Oganyan will appear as a profound art explorer who is not afraid to imitate.
His author's word is dissolved in the currents of modernism, he is not afraid to take bold steps worthy of the greatest provocateurs - Matisse, Picasso, Malevich.
