Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Karelia invites Francesco Caraccio to the exhibition of contemporary Italian artistSilent Dance.

The exhibition will feature 30 works from the author’s “ballet series”, which is often compared to the masterpieces of Edgar Degas.

Francesco Caraccio was born in Italy, educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium. His art career began early. Already at the age of 17 he is a participant in prestigious collective exhibitions in Brussels, at 28 he is the author of a personal exhibition in Italy. At 29, Francesco in France met with Marc Chagall, who became a spiritual teacher for the young artist. Today, the artist's works are presented in galleries and museums in the main cities of Italy. The exhibition is dedicated to Carla Fracci, whose name is on a par with the names of the great ballerinas - Galina Ulanova and Maya Plisetskaya.
