The Vyatka Art Museum named after V. M. and A. M. Vasnetsov together with the Russian Academy of Arts presents an exhibition of works by the President of the Russian Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the USSR, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Zurab Konstantinovich Tsereteli"This beautiful world".
The exhibition reflects the fruitful creative fate of Zurab Tsereteli and presents more than 50 works of recent years, including works created under the influence of his meetings with world masters: Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso and Robert Rauschenberg.
Among the works of Z. Tsereteli are composition portraits created over the past few years, still lifes with flowers depicted by the author, sculptural compositions “Pirosmani and Russo”, “My Favorite Artists”. Following his main thematic preferences, in each new work, the artist finds unexpected plastic and color solutions, compositional techniques. Picturesque canvases are distinguished by special decorativeness, expressiveness of large color masses, which give the works a sharpness of the figurative system and monumentality.
