Nikolay Prokopenko. Art nude

Exhibition September 20 − October 9, 2019
The gallery of the Odessa Literary Museum hosts an exhibition of People's Artist of Ukraine Mykola Prokopenko "Art nude". The key theme of the exhibition was the image of a woman. For many years, the artist studied Ukrainian folk beliefs and rituals in which much attention was paid to the cult of the Great Mother Beregini. In the author’s paintings, the forms of the female body often resemble a vase, flower, or fruit. The woman in his art appears as a perfect creation.
