In Hong Kong, Hanart TZ Gallery presents "Wei Dong: Crossroads". The exposition includes landscape paintings by the author of recent years - calm and motionless, like a still image in a film. The artist’s amazing technical virtuosity is manifested both in his acrylic and ink works, and the signature combination of classical and modern, both Chinese and Western, causes surreal associations.
Wei Dong was born in Inner Mongolia in 1968. The last twenty years he lived between Beijing and New York. Member of major exhibitions.
