Volgograd Museum of Fine Arts. I.I. Mashkova holds a personal exhibition of Victoria Chaplygina"Street of the World Building".
The exposition includes more than 60 works by the author, most of which were created in recent years.
Among the presented works are a series of decorative layers: “The Gate of Faith”, “Architects and Space”, “Rhythms of Spain”, “Transformation”, “Keepers of Nature”, “Peace Street”. The last three series were created directly for this exhibition. The works are made using the technique of overglaze painting using smalt and jewelry enamel. The precious qualities of materials themselves give rise to a festive, solemn sounding of each work and the project as a whole.
For her anniversary exhibition, Victoria chose the name “Street of the World Building”. It reflected her understanding of the city as a man-made space and the role of art as the beginning, shaping life.
