Ivan Shishkin. Painting and Graphics

The Museum Association "Artistic Culture of the Russian North" hosts an exhibition of an outstanding Russian artist, master of landscape paintingIvan Ivanovich Shishkin.

The exposition includes 60 paintings and drawings that will introduce various facets of Shishkin's work.

The basis of the exhibition was paintings from the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan (Kazan), graphic works from the collections of the Vologda Regional Art Gallery and the Museum Association “Artistic Culture of the Russian North” (Arkhangelsk). Along with paintings, the exhibition included graphic works, without which it is impossible to imagine the creative look of a great landscape painter. These are full-scale pencil drawings, etchings and lithographs from the collection of the Vologda Picture Gallery and the Museum Association “Artistic Culture of the Russian North”.
