Impressionism. Masterpieces from the Ordrupgaard collection

Hamburg Kunsthalle presents the exhibition "Impressionism. Masterpieces from the Ordrupgaard collection".
The exhibition presents paintings by all the leading impressionists: Camille Pissarro, Eduard Manet, Edgar Degas, Alfred Sisley, Claude Monet, Berthe Morisot, Pierre Auguste Renoir and Eva Gonzalez.
The presented works vividly recreate revolutionary developments for visitors in the motives, painting techniques and perception effects that unfold on canvas in just a few decades, starting in the 1870s.
Particular attention is paid to a group of eight paintings by Paul Gauguin, whose work has already laid the foundation for post-impressionism.
