Exhibition 12 − November 24, 2019
An unusual art project is presented in the exhibition hall of the gallery of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists “Blue Living Room”"Event".

The exhibition combines paintings by Sergei Dorovenko and Mikhail Kalyuta.

The venerable painter Sergei Dorovenko, known for his avant-garde canvases, both in Russia and abroad, for the first time shows his realistic works. For Mikhail Kalyuta, whom some art critics already call the “new Matisse,” this is the first exhibition in the Union of Artists. Sergey Dorovenko was inspired several years ago by the work of Misha Kalyuta, who not so long ago turned 15 years old. What attracted the master in the works of the young artist? Direct and naive interpretation of the world, love for him, ease in the layout of the canvas. Some of the paintings can already be safely called completed, finished paintings by a mature master (for example, “Portrait of Mom” or “Still Life with Extension Cord”).
