Alexey Andes. EVOLUTIO

Kiev Center for Contemporary Art "White Light" presents an exhibition of paintings by Alexei Anda "EVOLUTIO". Using various techniques, light-tone variations, the artist in almost all his works avoids clear lines, designations of objects, faces, silhouettes. The author moves away from the patterns of traditional understanding of symbols and shifts the emphasis from prediction to polysemy, versatility, providing freedom of one’s own interpretations of what one sees.

Alexey Ande is a Ukrainian artist who first used the concept of “associative symbolism” in the context of contemporary visual art. According to experts of international art festivals "Kiev-1999" and "Kiev-2000", it is among the twenty best artists of Ukraine. Lives and works in Kiev.
