Expressionist Scherer

Freiburg Museum of Modern Art presents an exhibition "Expressionist Scherer".
Inspired by paintings by Edward Munch and Ernst Kirchner, Scherer develops an expressive design language and writes vibrant paintings. In his canvases we are talking about aspirations and internal conflicts, love and passion, fear and loneliness.
The exhibition includes paintings (some of them are painted on both sides), wooden sculptures and works on paper.
