Valery Franchuk. Angels are sad

In the National Museum of Literature of Ukraine in the framework of the museum project "Swinging Bells of Memory" an exhibition "Angels are sad”, Dedicated to the eighty-sixth anniversary of the Holodomor in Ukraine. Among the exhibits are paintings, drawings by Valery Franchuk. Also rare books from the museum funds about this tragic page of Ukrainian history are presented.

Valery Franchuk was born in 1950 in the Khmelnitsky region. Graduated from Kiev State Art Institute. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1990. Since 2005 - Honored Artist of Ukraine, and since 2015 - People's Artist of Ukraine. The works are stored in domestic museums, public organizations and cultural centers of Ukraine and abroad.
