The State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg holds an exhibition"Feelings stored by memory".
The exhibition features more than 20 ceramic compositions of the Finnish ceramic artist Maria Kupari, created during 2017-2019.
Maria Kupari - creates her works from the fragments of old ceramic dishes using the mosaic technique. Thus, broken dishes get a second life. The recycled material gives the mosaic works a feeling of depth and layering - an effect that can be obtained when working with new clay.
