In Sumy, BureauArt Gallery presents the exhibition “Levkas Thumbnails"Created by the participants of the Levkas Biennale. The exhibition includes works by famous artists: Nikolai Zhuravlya, Oleg Denisenko, Roman Romanishin, Alexei Malykh, as well as the work of young left-handed artists.
The founder of the Biennale, the center of contemporary art White Light, promotes the theme of gesso in Ukrainian contemporary art. The opening of the main exhibition of left-handed works of the Biennale in March 2019 showed an incredible variety of directions and plots, techniques and techniques that artists use when working with this ancient, and at the same time modern and relevant material.
