ZDanevich: HERE AND NOW
Exhibition December 3, 2019 − February 2, 2020
Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) presents an exhibition projectZDanevich: HERE AND NOW.
At the exhibition, viewers will see Ilya Zdanevich’s homage — a collective book in the livre d'artiste genre, created by contemporary artists, as well as works dedicated to Zdanevich in such genres as art objects, mail art, readymade, graphics (lithography, silk-screen printing, linocut, stencil, stamp, cardboard), collage.
The project is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of Ilya Mikhailovich Zdanevich and the 70th anniversary of the publication of “Poetry of Unknown Words”, one of the most striking collective editions of Zdanevich - an artist, publisher, art theorist, without whom, according to many critics, “would not have taken place Russian avant-garde and impoverished European. ”
