"Gift". Natalia Grezina and Anastasia Sukhareva-Morozova

Moscow Museum of Modern Art and the Free Workshops School of Contemporary Art present an exhibition projectNatalia Grezina and Anastasia Sukhareva-Morozova “Gift”dedicated to the gesture of giving in the history of meanings and traditions.
Turning to the history of sacrificial gifts, the authors present to the viewer objects with a tradition of ritual use: installations, jewelry, swords and daggers, masks and casts of parts of the human body, ceramic sculptures and objects of hand embroidery.
The dialogue between the two authors reveals the essence of the artist’s work and everyday rituals.
