Dmitry Koval. Mysterious Ukraine

The Museum of the History of Kiev presents an exhibition of Dmitry Koval “Mysterious Ukraine”. The exhibition includes landscapes, portraits, still lifes of the painter. The artist’s unusual author’s style, combined with delicate coloring and deep symbolism, creates an atmosphere of fabulous reality. Decorative elements give the canvas the effect of monumentality.

Dmitry Koval was born in 1990 in Khotyn. He studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. The main directions of the artist's work are impressionism and pointillism in combination with abstract and decorative art. Participant of many All-Ukrainian and international exhibitions, winner of numerous awards. The works are stored in the expositions of the Chernivtsi and Zaporizhzhya art museums, as well as in private collections in Ukraine, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Russia, China and Canada.
