Paula Rego: Obedience and Disobedience

"Paula Rego: Obedience and Disobedience"- the main retrospective of the artist Paula Rego. The exhibition covered the entire career of Rego since the 1960s, including more than 80 works, including paintings that have never been exhibited, and paper works provided by the artist’s family.

The exhibition focuses on the moral problems of humanity, especially in the face of violence, gender discrimination and political tyranny. There are paintings and engravings related to children sold into slavery in North Africa, abortion and female genital mutilation.
