The State Museum of the History of Religion holds an exhibition"Researcher. Scientist. Collector"dedicated to the memory of two prominent scholars of China - academician Vasily Mikhailovich Alekseev (1881 - 1951) and academician Lev Nikolaevich Menshikov (1926 - 2005).

The main place at the exhibition is occupied by works of Chinese fine and decorative arts - the subject of many years of collecting passion V.M. Alekseeva. Exhibited items from the collection of the State Museum of the History of Religion and Family L.N. Menshikov.

Visitors will be able to see a unique collection of Chinese folk paintings, including xylographic picture, epigraphy (inscriptions, amulets), small engraving, calligraphy, art postal paper, prints (prints) from ancient stone slabs, as well as the scientist’s scientific archive.
