Rostov Regional Museum of Local Lore in the halls of the Museum of Russian-Armenian Friendship holds an exhibition“Painters, dip your brushes ...”.

More than 100 exhibits are presented at the exhibition: paintings and graphic works by Nakhchivan artists M. Saryan, A. Artsatbanyan, A. Hovhannesov, S. Gampartsumov, I. Krylov, N. Lansere, A. Olya, M. Chinchyan, photographs of S. Nazaryan, member of the Art Photo section of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, historical documents, books, photographs, personal belongings of recognized masters of painting.

The exhibition "Painters, dip your brushes ..." is dedicated to the 240th anniversary of the city of Nakhichevan-on-Don and the organization in 1899 of the 1st exhibition of professional paintings - an event that opened a new page in the history of fine art in Rostov and Nakhichevan-on-Don . Through the efforts of outstanding masters of the brush of past centuries, for the living, the amazing unique appearance of the city and its inhabitants has been preserved. The traditions of the past are worthily continued by the talented artists of our time.
