Alice Neal. Perfect look

Exhibition June 10 − August 24, 2020
The Perfect Look, a retrospective of the Pompidou Center on Alice Neal (1900-1984), one of North America’s most important artists, emphasizes the artist’s political and social commitment, which has long been ignored.

The exposition, divided into two thematic parts: class struggle and gender struggle, includes about seventy paintings and drawings, as well as numerous documents - from the first works of the late 1920s to the last paintings that were created shortly before her death in 1984 .
