Katya Florenskaya. Tarot

Winery Center for Contemporary Art and Totibadze Gallery present painting exhibition“Katya Florenskaya. Tarot.
Each of the artist’s canvases depicts one of the classic plots of the major arcana of the Tarot cards, equipped with an explanatory text. Archetypal plots of maps are revised in a modern way.
The project explores the relationship of archetype and mythology with the ordinary phenomena and realities surrounding the artist, finds parallels between ancient symbols and everyday objects. The works of Katya Florenskaya are in the collection of the State Russian Museum, Communication Museum. Popov, as well as in collections of galleries and private collections in Russia and abroad.
