Arcadia - Paradise Lost"- not only the nature that we meet in the classical landscape paintings of Italy and France of the 17th century. The paintings often contain stories and characters from fairy tales, literature and philosophy. Opening stories, we get the opportunity to participate in a bygone world, but we also encounter with many similarities to the thoughts of our time about nature, climate and landscape.
The exposition includes more than 100 works, many of which are borrowed from international museums. Among other works - the work of Claude Lorren, Antoine Watteau, Salvator Rosa and Nicolas Poussin.
