Inhabited spaces. Exhibition of works by Irina Marts

Exhibition January 23 − February 16, 2020
The Russian Academy of Arts (PAX) at the Center for the Promotion of Fine Arts in Vladimir presents a personal exhibition of the laureate of the Prize named after Viktor Popkov, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Irina Marts“Inhabited spaces”.

Visitors will see the picturesque works of Irina Andreevna Marts.

The works of Irina Marts from the first instant conquer sincerity and freshness. They capture the beauty and sensuality of temperamental painting. They capture a life perceived gratefully, and therefore pure and significant in the most mundane manifestations. Here, the everyday is eventful: the onset of the morning with the foreboding of a busy day, the movement of the sun in the sky, the quirks of the weather, the first steps of the child, the discovery of the new in the known, the recognition of the close in the unfamiliar. The author’s works are in collections of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Art Museum in Lipetsk, and in private collections in Russia, Norway, England, Germany, France, and Israel.
