Salvador Dali. Memories of Surrealism

Exhibition November 5, 2019 − February 23, 2020
The completely surreal Spanish surrealist Salvador Dali (1904–89) in 1971 released a set of color prints called “Memories of Surrealism". A dozen etchings and lithographs in this series are examples of Dali's presentation of everyday images with multivalent symbols in unusual contexts and other worlds.

This focal exhibition not only shows the work of one of the most mysterious and popular artists of the twentieth century, but also, more importantly, gives an idea of the creative corners of his eccentric mind. Even at a time when our society is encouraging the expansion of creativity and is looking for new approaches to solving problems, Dali’s work still challenges the standards and our automatic adoption of “reality”.
