Woodcut: Materials and Process

Exhibition February 27 − May 3, 2020
"Woodcut: Materials and Process"- a choice of woodcuts - from the 1500s to the present day - which illustrate the many ways artists push the boundaries of the artistic environment.

This exhibition, focused on line and color, encourages visitors to look at how the print was made, as well as what is shown on it.

The variety of works by artists such as Albrecht Dürer, Kerry James Marshall, Helen Frankenthaler and many others, opens up many opportunities for discussing the relationship between the material and the process.
