As part of the celebration of its fifth anniversary, the museum will dedicate its galleries on the first and third floors to a number of free exhibitions and comprehensive presentations by one artist in a unique, continuous sequence that includes deep immersions in the works of icons of American post-war art and pop music of the 1960s , key artists of the New York and Los Angeles art scenes of the 1980s, as well as the works of famous figures of the 1990s to the present day.

First successLiechtensteinbrought his work on the themes of comics and magazine graphics. According to Liechtenstein, this idea came to him due to the fact that at school they began to laugh at his son because his father was an abstract expressionist, which in their understanding meant "who does not know how to draw and therefore paints abstractions!" To reassure his son, Liechtenstein first drew him Mickey Mouse, exactly as in the comics, as well as George Washington in the style of comics. After that, the artist realized that he was interested in this idea: “It brought him satisfaction, and he imitated not only the comics themselves, but also the raster of the newspaper print. Friends came and also found it interesting ... and then, suddenly L. found his handwriting, a simple, healthy, natural handwriting, which in fact was the "handwriting of six-year-olds" - and made it "famous."
