From Delacroix to Vasarely. Masterpieces from the 1800s

Hungarian National Gallery presents an exhibition“From Delacroix to Vasarely. Masterpieces of the collection created since the 1800s ».

The exhibition presents more than 80 works of art in chronological order, spanning two centuries.
In addition to the well-known masterpieces from the museum’s collection, visitors will be able to see works not previously presented, to appreciate the diversity and dynamics of the exhibition.

In addition to the works of the great figures of the French Impressionist era - Paul Cezanne, Camille Pissarro, Claude Monet, the exhibition also contains works by Austrian, German, Belgian and Scandinavian artists (Franz von Lenbach, Wilhelm Label, Axel Gallen-Callella), showing a complex and European nuance.
