The All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art holds an exhibition“Secrets of restoration. Amber Room and other projects ".
The exposition presents over one hundred unique exhibits, including replicas of fragments of the Amber Room, scientific reconstructions of amber objects, silk and lapis lazuli samples of the Lyon Hall, jewelry stone plastic, a magnificent malachite vase and furniture in the style of Louis XIV, modern and art deco.
The Amber Room is the eighth wonder of the world, the interior that laid the path from dream to reality, from mistakes to perfection, from lack of experience to knowledge. After they were created Agate rooms, Lyon Hall, the Church of the Resurrection of Christ and much more. Never before did the masters of the Tsarskoye Selo Amber Workshop reveal their secrets and demonstrate their achievements. For visitors to the exhibition, a door will open into the world of beautiful works and fabulous interiors, where each item has a special appeal.
