Palazzo Chiericati Museum presents an exhibition"Tiepolo - 250".

The exhibition is timed to coincide with the 250th anniversary of the death of one of the greatest painters of the 18th century, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo.

Italian painter, born in Castello di San Pietro, near Venice, in 1696. By the middle of the 18th century, Tiepolo, who by this time had become the recognized head of the Venetian school of painting, was widely known, worked a lot for foreign courts. During his stay in Vicenza, the artist created a large number of works that visitors can see in the halls of the museum, as well as the Villa Cordellina, Villa Valmarana ai Nani, Villa Zileri and the Palladian Museum.
