Exhibition March 6, 2020 − January 3, 2021
Art Museum Bonnefanten hosts an exhibition“Running around the bush. Scenes from the Anthropocene ".

The exposition presents works of fine art, decorative and applied creativity of authors from the 15th century to the present day. Authors include Gerrit van Bakel, David Lynch, Maria Barnas, Melanie Bonaho, Paul Chan, Zachary Drucker and Rhys Ernst, Alia Farid, Zheng Guogu, Camille Henroth, Domenico di Michelino, Danae Muns and many others.

The Anthropocene is an era when man is the measure of everything; a world in which manipulation seems to know no boundaries. In other words, the term "Anthropocene" was coined to refer to the era in which man became the main driver of environmental change. Hunger, disease and war are no longer inevitable and uncontrollable disasters, and thanks to biotechnology and artificial intelligence, humans can shape the world as they see fit.
