Mechanics of Leonardo da Vinci

The Kostroma State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve in the halls of the Art Gallery is holding a fascinating and mysterious exhibition "Mechanics of Leonardo da Vinci".
This new project will be able to surprise the modern viewer and prove how brilliant the artist and inventor was from the distant Renaissance era. His inventions allowed humanity to take a significant step forward. Mechanisms created according to da Vinci's drawings are used today in the creation of cars and airplanes, in watchmaking and in other areas of production. For example, the inventions of Leonardo da Vinci formed the basis of the modern gearbox, jack, searchlight and bearing.
The most interesting thing for visitors is the opportunity to touch the exhibits and study the principles of their work. All the most interesting from the master's diaries were selected for the exhibition. After all, just looking at a thing and touching it, getting a little closer to the author's intention are completely different moments. In addition, the exhibition will be complemented by reproductions of paintings and anatomical works by Leonardo da Vinci.
