Exhibition March 7 − June 20, 2021
Dallas Museum of Art is hosting an exhibition "Frida Kahlo: five works".

The exhibition provides a rare opportunity to explore a selection of works by renowned Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.

Since her death in 1954, Kahlo's deeply emotional and vibrant paintings have gained increasing attention, transforming the renowned artist into a global cultural phenomenon.

The exhibition features four paintings and a drawing from a private collection that serve as a vehicle for understanding the larger aspects of Kahlo's artistic practice. This includes her unique visual language, her exploration of still life at the end of her career, and her reflections on the events of her adventurous life.
