Kunsthalle Rotterdam invites you to visit an unusual exhibition "We are animals".
The exposition brought together the works of more than 30 contemporary artists dedicated to animals and their relationship with humans. Paintings, sculptures, photographs and installations express the authors' acute problems and views on how people manipulate other species of animals, or glorify and value animals for being wonderful creatures in which we can recognize so much ourselves.
Sculptures of feathered polar bears, installations of wild wolves, monumental paintings of cute cats and poignant photographs of zoos: the result of this provocative selection of works is a fascinating exhibition that must be visited and provides food for thought.
