Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum presents an exhibition "Treasures from the collection of the Thyssen-Bornemisza family"
As part of the 2021 celebration of the centenary of the birth of Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza, his heirs took part in several special exhibitions planned by the museum in his honor. This time, the museum presents a new collection of works, many of which are included in the collection of decorative art of the early Renaissance, collected by the father of the baron, the era in which he was fascinated.
The exhibition includes works by Dutch and German jewelers of the 16th - 17th centuries, sculptures of the Italian and German Renaissance, works of Dutch sculptors, examples of spectacular Italian Baroque - rock crystal carvings, oil paintings.
