Exhibition "Painted Vladivostok"

Exhibition June 4 − July 4, 2021
On June 4, 2021 at 16:00 in the Primorsky State Painting Gallery, the fourth joint exhibition "Painted Vladivostok" of the group of the same name will be presented on FB, dedicated to the 161st birthday of our city. The "Painted Vladivostok" group differs from other creative associations in that it does not set itself any general formal and ideological requirements, adherence to one artistic direction. The artist here is free to choose his creative manner. The general only, as the name of the group already implies, is the object of the image. And the content, genres, author's style are different for everyone.
This is a special exhibition, multifaceted and expressive like Vladivostok itself. And all because it has collected in itself many works of artists who do not obey a single genre and style. The variety of techniques, plots, the desire of many authors to experiment, the expressive emotionality of bright works make the exposition interesting and unique.
This exhibition is being held for the fourth time, and the number of authors and the exposition itself are growing every year. The first exhibition consisted of about fifty works, today more than two hundred are presented for selection.
"Painted Vladivostok" is an exhibition for amateurs and professionals of the seaside fine arts. Here the city is presented in all its inspiring beauty and diversity: in the rhythms of today and in nostalgic memories of the past, at different times of the year, morning and evening ...
Even industrial landscapes are covered with romance of the seaside town. "Painted Vladivostok" for some of the authors is one of a series of museum shows, and some are exhibited in the museum for the first time. The variety of techniques, subjects, the desire of many authors to experiment, the expressive emotionality of especially striking works make the exposition interesting.
Everything is here about Vladivostok, and with love!
