The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Ludwig Foundation, Vienna invites you to visit the exhibition “Enjoy the new one. Contemporary art in MUMOK ".
Within the framework of the project, visitors will get acquainted with the new exposition of the museum, as well as by Heimo Zobernig.
Along with sculpture, film, performance and design, painting is a central component of Heimo Zobernig's cross-media art. From the very beginning of his artistic practice in the early 1980s, the artist has created an extensive artistic creation, always based on an attempt to explore color as a "scientist".
The new exhibition seeks to convey the relationship between the past and the present in art as a living process of comprehension and revaluation, which reflects socio-political, sociocultural and philosophical developments and discourses, as well as their variability.
