Exhibition June 12 − July 25, 2021
St. Petersburg State Museum-Institute of the Roerich Family invites you to visit the exhibition "God is not in might, but in truth.".

The exhibition presents more than two dozen graphic works of the artist, which illustrate the most significant periods of Alexander Nevskiy's life. A series of works presented at the exhibition is made by the author in the style of Old Russian miniatures.

Created by Vladimir Zenin, the project is dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the birth of the holy Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky. The images and subjects in the paintings unfold against the background of historical events and phenomena associated with the name of Alexander Yaroslavovich, whose example in all subsequent times for the Russian army has served as a model of courage, fortitude and diplomatic tact. Carefully selected by the author subjects provide a vivid retrospective and connect the past and the future, and highlight the lasting importance of eternal spiritual values: faith, patriotism, the Russian Orthodox tradition.
