IV Triennale of Textile Art and Modern Tapestry
Exhibition July 8, 2021 − March 10, 2022
The State Museum-Reserve "Tsaritsyno" invites you to visit IV Triennale of Textile Art and Modern Tapestry.
For "Tsaritsyn" the Triennale of Textile Art is one of the main exhibition projects, as this year it celebrates its 10th anniversary. The best works were presented by 69 authors from 12 countries, of which 14 installations are intended for outdoor display, 9 - for the ceremonial halls of the Great Palace and the Bread House, 16 are art objects with weaving elements and 40 are traditional tapestries.
This year's exhibition is no longer just an exhibition of weaving achievements, but an interdisciplinary project, in which both artists working in traditional techniques and authors, whose works are also woven by hand, but from materials that are not textiles - aluminum, plastic, neon tubes and much more, take part. Part of the exposition of this year Triennale will be located in the open air - in the Tzaritsyn Landscape Park.
