The Odessa Museum of Western and Eastern Art opened an exhibition "Portrait Time.".
The exhibition features works by Western European artists of the 16th-20th centuries. This is the first exhibition of portraits from the museum funds. It includes 38 paintings made in oil paintings, watercolors and pastels by masters of different art schools of Europe.
Visitors will become acquainted with portraits of historical figures who were highly valued by their contemporaries - the French writer Madame de Sevigne, the famous German Enlightenment figure Ewald von Herzberg, the brave warrior from the ancient Livonian family of Eustachius Palmenbach, and the Italian impressionist painter Giovanni Guarlotti.
