British Museum presents international exhibition "Drawings of the Italian Renaissance."
The exhibit includes examples of many of the greatest artists of the time, drawn from the world-famous collection of the British Museum.
Drawings by Italian Renaissance artists such as Raphael, Titian, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci allow us to understand the Renaissance style as more naturalistic, rational, and direct-emotional. The works on paper offer the modern viewer a unique chance to follow the thought process of Renaissance artists and thereby feel connected to the act of creation.
