Georges Pompidou National Centre for Arts and Culture holds an exhibition "Georgia O'Keeffe.".
Visitors are treated to the first retrospective in France of Georgia O'Keeffe, one of the greatest figures of American painting of the twentieth century. Featuring around a hundred paintings, drawings and photographs, the exhibition offers a complete overview of her artistic career.
The creation of this exceptional collection of works has been made possible by the support of leading international public and private collections, mostly North American: the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, the MoMA, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid.
